Duncan Maclean was checking on his sheep this morning when he spotted three sea eagles - two clutching lambs in their talons. The 40-year-old said the eagles 'used to not be an issue at all' but 'these days you will see multiple in the air at any one time', revealing that he has already lost six lambs to eagles this season. Mr Maclean said: 'We're not a big patch as we only have 200 ewes to lamb and 10 cows so losing this many lambs has a big impact on us.'

Legendary cyclist Chris Froome has accused a road user of 'trying to drive into him' multiple times during training.  The four-time Tour de France champion, who is scheduled to make his competitive return at the Tour of the Alps later this month following a collarbone fracture sustained during the UAE Tour in February, was involved in a road rage incident on Thursday. The episode occurred in Menton, a town near his residence in Monaco, shortly after he had commenced a challenging 108-kilometre training ride through the mountainous terrain of southern France.
